About the Festival

Come to the lovely historic town of Berkeley Springs West Virginia in the Appalachian Mountains and enjoy a weekend of independent films. While you're here, enjoy one of the many spas with hot springs and massage, Bed and Breakfasts, hiking trails and restaurants frequently enjoyed by tourists and locals alike.

Film screenings take place Friday evening from 3:00 to 10 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday 9 AM to 3 PM (subject to change). All screenings are at The Historic Star Theater with intimate seating capacity of only 224. Enjoy popcorn with optional real butter during the screenings, and one of the local restaurants for lunch.

An Awards Ceremony will take place Saturday evening immediately after the screenings on Saturday. Come and show your support as filmmakers receive awards and prizes on stage at the Historic Star Theater (beer and wine available). Then stay for the after party and complimentary finger food Saturday evening right there in the Star Theater, where you can meet the filmmakers and they can network on upcoming projects. We'll be projecting photos of the weekend on the big screen as we party to your favorite movie soundtracks.

We will also be holding seminars on Saturday for filmmakers (or anyone with an All-Access or Saturday Day Pass).

All-Access Festival Passes ($49) are less than half the price of most weekend film festivals, seating is limited and we expect to sell out fast, so get your tickets now by clicking the Buy Festival Pass Now button above. We also have one day Festival Passes for Friday ($20), Saturday ($40 includes seminars, awards and party), and Sunday ($20), as well as Student Passes.
